PickNPay flavoured patty with an awkward lump of corn stodge in a pot they call pepper sauce. ew. Limp used lettuce long dead and decomposing.

Flavourless onions and chilled tomatoes would be unidentifiable eaten blindfolded.

Real pity, as the potato wedges are absolutely fantastic, but underwhelmed by the flavourless block of meat and... whatever they made the block of 'sauce' from.
With the bill they bring another restaurant's branded sweets! wtf.

Butter Chicken with Naan

Lots of  dishes on display but what they are is a mystery. The promise of fast food is broken waiting for the slow naan to boredom.

Not so spicy flavours. Dehydrated coleslaw. Plastic cutlery and a surprising lack of atmosphere. You have to sit in rows eating in front of the chefs prison style while they make comments.

Regular beef burger and chips

Burger looks okay but lets you down on entry, with no talent in the mouth the burger resorts to some dirty tricks, like soya.

I'm not sure what strange material the chips are made of. Silicone? Foam? They'd not be amiss padding a pornstar's pants. It's like BJs go out of the way to use strange materials when there's a supplier of fresh produce around every corner.
You'd probably be prepared to eat it until you're married.

No name sign outside, maybe they're embarrassed about the activities going on inside.

Nice bit of barbeque char, exceptionally well designed burger, easy to eat, huge, cheap! Delicious!

Mini cheese burgers are ruined by tartaric acid pickles though.

Classic Burger and Fries

Wonderful taste with a nice char from the flame grill. A huge hit!

Don't expect to get this in your mouth unless you're a member of the Rolling Stones or a sales exec.

Be sure to come on Mondays for the 2 for 1 special. You can even get 1 takeaway, music to any fatboy's ears. This extremely good value as a side of decent chips os include

Woody interior and jazz on the wireless.

Breakfast Benedict
A cylinder of neutral stodge with ingredients only distinguishable by the colours. There's processed cheese and flour sauce in there to give it the benedict title.

Not even close to the tasty McD treat they are trying to emulate.

Fry's Original Burgers

Soya burger. Fry's other products are awesome. Their burgers are sick. I mean they literally taste like sick.

No complaints on the burger, good McD faire. Chips were old and dry.

But the hygeine in this shop is beyond ick. Dirty floors (as in greasy), pieces of food lying aroumd under the tables, dirty cardboard in the kitchens, open pots of used oil for things to gros in and one staff had the receipt IN HER MOUTH while she filled in something.

Dirty mop water splashed under your feet by the cleaner while you are eating.

Front sales was too distracted to notice customers.

Good burger ruined by bad management.

Pretty good goto burger with excellent chips. Lots of flavour. Not amazing, not bad, just hits the spot.

Saul's usually does their burgers so rare you can still hear the moo, (no doubt saving pennies on gas) so be sure to ask for extra burn to get a regular, which will cost you an extra ten minutes. Don't EVER order egg here unless you love salmonella. Onion rings are usually undercooked and battery. Not enough heat in the kitchen!

The grumpy shouty staff always have issues and this makes Saul's a spot to go to for the entertainment,  but what does it do for the flavour?

Piquant is a word, and this word is spread over the burger that is almost on the turn, but a haven for drunken uncles in the early hours as this is a 24 hour bug.

Be sure to get a cup of the world's worst coffee to wake you up after work.

So much soya a vegetarian wouldn't mind. Have to cook them extra long to get the strong taste of soya out your mouth. Needs a good basting before the tasting. This is a burger for heavy basting and caramelizing.

Sausage MCMuffin with egg
There's something they're hiding in-between the layers of meat and egg that makes this taste extra good. A perfect breakfast muffin burger.

Home-style sausage meat burger and great chips. Service is the world's worst rubbish, and the rest of the food is bleh, but this is a jewel in the crown, the crown being a dodgy dirty gatsby shop in Sea Point Main Road ( next to Woollies)
